Lisa Robinson and Dr Nicole Anderson hail from Christchurch in New Zealand. In 2008 they visited Indonesia over the New Year period.
“We travelled to visit a rural medical clinic in the Halmahera Island Region. Both of us have a heart for helping others, especially those with so much less than us - little Kasih in Indonesia really captured our hearts. We left the clinic in January and came home with a dream and belief that Kasih could be given a future if we took some action. This fundraising effort is part of that action.
We really believe that God has a heart for every little child on this world… and it’s up to us to reach out to those we meet.
Brooke Fraser (a Kiwi singer/songwriter) sums it up aptly: “now that I have seen, I am responsible… faith without deeds is dead…” We choose to act out our faith through this effort.
Lisa and Nicole.

 Professor David David,
Is currently the Head of the Australian Craniofacial Unit , a Centre of Excellence for this multidisciplinary speciality.  He conducts consultations in Adelaide primarily, in Sydney, in Hobart and Launceston.  He also conducted two clinical visits to South East Asia in Indonesia and Singapore.
Kasih will need extensive surgery over several operations. Â Her time in Adelaide will be one of the most stressful times for her family in their lives - travelling from a remote third world village all the way to Adelaide… and then facing the stressors and anxiety of the long surgical path ahead….
We have spent the last three months looking for a medical team able to do the surgery that Kasih needs. Â Amazingly Professor David David of the Cranio Facial Unit at Adelaide Hospital has offered his team to do the surgery - paid for by the Hospital and the South Australian Government!…. BUT we need to get Kasih to Adelaide Hospital… and so the fundraising continues…
